Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California USA. She is an actress known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, pursued these professions as well. She made her debut when she was just nine years old old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e Bisogni in 1988. she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo, and was part of the cast of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. In the following year, she appeared as Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon It was in the film Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she was able to transition from roles that were played by young girls to larger, more sophisticated characters. Cannes International Film Festival received the film with great awe. Daria Argento and her mother and one Argento's most beloved actors Daria was an orexic teenager who is searching for the murderer of their parents, in Trauma. Asia's absorbed and intense acting skills were utilized in the film Condannato a nozze. Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was a challenging and intricate role, which won it the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. The film also featured her in a major role in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again won her a David di Donatello as well as a Grolla of Oro. Asia took up the profession of directing in 1994 and produced two shorts, an episode of De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document on her father. And, finally, 1998, Asia made a feature film on Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), that was awarded an award by the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut film in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was the actress leading the film as well as the writer of the screenplay. The film came out in May 20, 2000, both in Italy and all over the world. The Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn, New York awarded it with a top prize.
